Popstar Demi Lovato is the latest celebrity rumored to be dating a former contestant on the reality show The Bachelorette.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Lovato and Mike Johnson went on a date in Los Angeles and are already talking about a second round.
"Everything went well on the date," the source said. "They had been messaging and then got in touch in real life through Hannah Brown."
Brown was the star of last season’s Bachelorette. She and Lovato have been seen spending time together since the show ended.
The Sober singer, who has openly struggled with addiction in the past, wrote on Instagram that she was interested in Johnson during his season of The Bachelorette. She wrote, “Mike I accept your rose.” On the show, the lead hands out roses to the men or women they would like to keep as romantic interests.
Their online flirtation continued when Johnson tweeted that he was wondering where his future wife was. Lovato responded that she was “right here” and that her mother already loved him.
Lovato recently posted a bikini Instagram photo and he responded, “Look at me like that again,” adding fuel to the relationship speculation fire. This wasn't the only bathing suit photo she's posted lately. She also shared an unedited picture on Instagram and said it was "facing her biggest fear."
Johnson briefly appeared on The Bachelorette spin-off Bachelor In Paradise, although he didn't find love. Perhaps he was just waiting to meet the Sorry Not Sorry star.
If they made their relationship official, it wouldn’t be the first celebrity/reality star pairing from the last season of The Bachelorette. Runner-up Tyler Cameron is currently dating Gigi Hadid.
