One of the frontrunners for the Brit Awards this year is Dave, who like Lewis Capaldi, is going for glory in four different categories.
The Brits 2020 will feature performances from Lizzo, Harry Styles, Stormzy and Dave, while Dave and Lewis lead this year's Brits nominees, both nominated in exactly the same categories - British Male, New Artist, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
Dave is the Streatham-born rapper who released his debut EP in 2016 before landing a huge hit alongside AJ Tracey on Thiago Silva, the track that went viral thanks to young fan Alex, joining him on stage at Glatonbury last year.
The 21-year-old has also had great chart success with Funky Friday alongside Fredo and had a huge album in the shape of debut Psychodrama which was released last year.
He also appeared in season three of Top Boy, which was released onto Netflix in September.
Reacting to his Brits nominations, Dave, who won last year's Mercury Music Prize, said: "“Four Brits?! No way!!! What an honour, and what a way to end the most incredible year. I’m very grateful. Thank you, THANK YOU!”
Dave will also perform at the Brits 2020, with other acts on stage set to include Billie Eilish, multiple nominee Billie Eilish and music legend Rod Stewart.
