Cauley Woodrow has been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.
The Barnsley striker is a reported transfer target for Forest and their Championship promotion rivals Leeds United and Bristol City.
Woodrow has scored nine times for Gerhard Struber's struggling Tykes, who languish second from bottom in the Championship.
He joined Barnsley from Fulham in summer 2018, netting 16 times as the Oakwell side finished second in the League One table.
Prior to that Woodrow, who joined the Cottagers in 2011 from Luton Town, had loan spells at Southend United, Burton Albion, Bristol City and Barnsley.
He originally made the move to South Yorkshire on loan before sealing a permanent transfer in January last year.
Woodrow, who started his career in Tottenham Hotspur's youth sides, has scored 23 times in 98 Championship appearances.
He helped Burton escape relegation in the second half of the 2017-18 campaign before making the move to Ashton Gate, where he struggled to make an impact.
Dropping down to League One relaunched his career and he hasn't looked back since, posting an impressive 28 goals in 59 games for his side.
Forest could be after a striker this month to take the pressure off Lewis Grabban in the second half of the season.
