Who Is Bryson DeChambeau's Caddie? Get To Know Gregory Bodine

Bryson DeChambeau and his caddie, Greg Bodine walk along at The Masters in 2025.

Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most recognizable faces in the game of golf, with the American claiming two US Open titles plus multiple PGA Tour and LIV Golf League victories.

Throughout most of that success, DeChambeau had Tim Tucker on the bag, with the American part of all eight of DeChambeau's PGA Tour victories. However, the pair split in 2021 and, following a stint with Ben Schomin, Cobra Golf's Tour Operations Manager, DeChambeau now has Gregory Bodine on the bag and has done since mid-2023.

The pair's first outing together came at LIV Golf Tulsa in May 2023, just a week out from that year's PGA Championship. Since the duo started working together, though, they have enjoyed a number of successes.

During the 2023 LIV Golf season, DeChambeau claimed two titles, with the highlight being his performance at LIV Golf Greenbrier. Firing a 61 on Saturday, he backed it up with an incredible 58 on Sunday for a six stroke victory. Not done there, DeChambeau won LIV Golf Chicago alongside Bodine in September.

Although no further wins arrived in 2024, DeChambeau played some of his best golf with Bodine and enjoyed a stellar season in the Majors - capped off by his dramatic comeback success at the US Open in June. Elsewhere, DeChambeau finished second at the PGA Championship at T6th at The Masters.

Regarding Bodine, he has been involved in golf for the majority of his life and is the cousin of PGA Tour players Andrew and Michael Putnam. Part of the Biola University golf team, Bodine worked with PGA Tour star Tony Finau from 2014 - 2020, with the duo picking up one PGA Tour title and multiple top-10s.

Prior to his caddying duties with DeChambeau, Bodine helped launch Evergreen Golf Club in Seattle. The club is a premier indoor golf facility and was opened in conjunction with former Seahawks receiver, Jermaine Kearse. To this day, Bodine is still involved with running the facility.

Speaking about working with DeChambeau, Bodine told Cascade Golfer: "I have a blast with him. At the core, he is a very, very, very good person. One thing that makes me a good caddie is being good company, honestly.

"When you’re around someone 12 hours a day, you’d better keep things light, keep things funny. To not be annoying … I think that’s a job well done.”
