Arsenal are poised to make a major change to Mikel Arteta's backroom staff.
As reported by the Athletic's David Ornstein, physio Chris Morgan is set to leave his position at the Emirates Stadium and rejoin the Premier League champions Liverpool.
It's a case of second time lucky for the Reds as the Gunners fended off their interest in Gary O'Driscoll earlier in the season.
But Morgan's return to Anfield means Arsenal are left with a void to fill in their medical team and the aforementioned report states that Bruno Mazziotti is their first-choice target.
Mazziotti has previously worked alongside the Gunners' technical director Edu and it could be that the Brazilian is using his connections to solve a major problem for Arteta.
But who is Bruno Mazziotti? football.london takes a look.
Who is Bruno Mazziotti?
Mazziotti, full name Bruno Mazziotti de Oliveira Alves, is a Physiotherapist with no background of being a professional footballer.
His first job in football was in December 2008 when he was appointed by Corinthians as the club physio and it was a position he held for seven years before swapping South America for Asia.
Mazziotti would take up a position at SD Luneng in December 2015 only to leave six months later and then return in January 2017 for 16 months.
In July 2018, Mazziotti was appointed by Paris Saint-Germain.
"Paris Saint-Germain will be my new home!" Mazziotti wrote on Instagram. "I feel very happy and confident about my responsibility to help this club to grow as part of this project.
"This challenge is immense, but my will to succeed is even greater. Thank you to PSG for their confidence and belief in my work!"
What is the view on Mazziotti?
The Athletic's David Ornstein states that Mazziotti is rated highly by Neymar, Thiago Silva, Ronaldo and former Chelsea forward Alexandre Pato.
In fact, the ESPN revealed in 2018 that Dani Alves and Marquinhos, were also keen to work with Mazziotti at PSG.
But it's his role in getting Neymar fit for the 2018 World Cup which has boosted his reputation.
The Brazilian's debut season at the Parc des Princes ended prematurely as he broke the fifth metatarsal in his right foot four months before the biggest tournament in football.
But under the care of Mazziotti, Neymar's rehabilitation went smoothly and he was ready for Brazil's opener against Switzerland - a game in which he played the full 90 minutes.
Why is he leaving PSG?
The reason Mazziotti is The Brazilian is seemingly available is unlikely to fill many Arsenal fans with too much confidence.
L'Equipe reported at the start of the month that he will be departing the Parc des Princes as part of the French champions' latest shake-up to their medical team.
In addition, it's understood that the Ligue 1 champions restructure its medical staff because of the number of injuries suffered across the squad this season.
With that said, much of the blame is said to have fallen on Martin Buchheit, the performance manager of the medical staff, who will also leave his post.
