Who is Bonnie Blue? Adult content creator at the heart of new Channel 4 documentary

Adult content creator Bonnie Blue will be the star of a brand new tell all show.

The controversial documentary lifting the lid on the sex life of Bonnie Blue will air this evening (Tuesday July 29).

Channel 4 has been forced to issue a statement defending the upcoming documentary which contains a number of graphic sex scenes.

The porn star, real name is Tia Billinger, has claimed to have slept with over 1,000 men in 12 hours, many of which she said were 'barely legal' university students and was banned from OnlyFans for taking part in a 2,000 person ‘petting zoo’ event.

Defending its decision to do a documentary about Bonnie, the broadcaster said: "Tia Billinger, via her stage name Bonnie Blue, has gained worldwide attention and millions of pounds in the last year.

“1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story is an observational documentary in which director Victoria Silver follows Tia over the course of six months."

The film questions Tia’s methods and the divisive style of her social media and hears from colleagues and collaborators in order to understand her polarising business model."

The documentary will be shown at 10pm tonight.

But who is the woman behind the Bonnie Blue alias and what do we know about her?

Who is Bonnie Blue?

The 26-year-old from Nottinghamshire, whose real name is Tia Billinger, is an adult film creator. She claims to have slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours, reportedly surpassing Lisa Sparks’s record of 919 men in one day in 2004.

Reports suggest OnlyFans removed the video from her channel, though this has not been officially confirmed.

She is no stranger to disclosing details about her personal life. She gained attention in 2024 for claiming to have slept with 157 university freshers—and later, some of their fathers.

Blue also previously said: “All men should cheat on their wives,” while on the Kyle and Jackie O Show last year.

“I actually think [cheating] makes you a better partner, because then you can come home, deal with your wife's whinging and get on with looking after the kids, but you're sneaking off somewhere else to get pleasured.”

She claimed in a November interview on ITV’s This Morning of earning upwards of £600,000 per month.

Before her rise to fame, Blue was in a decade-long relationship with Oliver Davidson, whom she married in 2022. She claims her ex-partner introduced her to sex work and still collaborates with her behind the scenes.

She told the Sun earlier this month: “I saw a lot of articles saying, ‘Oh I'm now getting a divorce because I've slept with over a thousand men’. And that is not the case, that we've been separated for a long, long time now.

“And he's still very much supportive and very proud because I have seen articles which say he doesn't associate himself with me, and that's not the case. We've still got a very close relationship.”

Blue added on the Dream On podcast hosted by Lottie Moss: “I was bored of living in the 9 to 5, so [thought I’m gonna give this a go,”

“I’ve done Cancún in March, I’ve done Schoolies, which is in Australia and then freshers in the UK. I share my location online. I was like, ‘This is where I’m gonna be, let me pleasure you,’ and there was a massive queue. People were waiting for over eight hours.”

It was at this Mexican holiday resort where Blue claimed to have slept with at least five “barely legal” teenage men.

After completing her 1,000-man challenge, Blue revealed on a podcast with Camilla Araujo that she had suffered with severe anxiety in the build up to the feat.

“I always get nervous. When I do the first few people, I’m more nervous than they are, and then after I’ve warmed up a bit, I’m like ‘Okay, I’ve got this,” she said.

Blue doesn’t appear to be alone in her pursuit, as she seems to have sparked a trend within the OnlyFans community. Content creators Annie Knight and Lily Phillips have also expressed interest in sleeping with 1,000 men.

Concerns raised

Some critics have raised ethical concerns about consent and whether young participants fully grasp the long-term implications of being featured in her content.

Blue reportedly verifies the identities of those she engages with and ensures they sign consent forms. However, some critics argue that this process is inadequate, suggesting that 18-year-olds may not fully grasp the long-term consequences of their actions.
