Who is Big Zuu in the Soccer Aid 2021 World XI team?

Making his Soccer Aid debut this year is Big Zuu.

The musician and television personality will join the World XI side on Saturday as they take on a very different England team at the Etihad Stadium.

He'll join the likes of Usain Bolt, Patrice Evra, Martin Compson and Ore Oduba in the team who will be hoping to win for a third year in a row.

But most importantly, it's all for a good cause.

Now in its 10th year, donations from Soccer Aid go to Unicef and this year the focus will again be on the global impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

So, what do we know about Big Zuu?

He's a British rapper, grime MC, songwriter, DJ and also a TV star.

Big Zuu, whose real name is Zuhair Hassan, is best known for presenting Big Zuu's Big Eats on Dave which began in 2020.

It sees the grime artist - who is also a brilliant self-taught cook - going around the UK to bring his big eats to some of the countries favourite comedians.

The Bafta-nominated series has already been commissioned for another run this year as well as returning for two special episodes.

And the 26-year-old has a new cookbook, also called Big Zuu’s Big Eats.

Big Zuu, who is an avid Liverpool supporter, is also a member of the MTP crew (My Team Paid), a rap group that consists of his cousin AJ Tracey and other grime MCs.

He released his first EP, Big Who, in 2015 and was working on his music alongside studying for a social work degree.

But it was sharing his cooking skills on social media that started to gain attraction and that ended up earning him his Dave show.
