Sunderland are being linked with Azerbaijan international Bahlul Mustafazade, according to reports in his home country.
Reports claim the Black Cats are in talks with his club over a possible transfer in January, with Phil Parkinson hoping to put his own stamp on his squad.

Career to date
Mustafazade started his career at FC Qabala II. He spend two seasons on loan at Sumgayit before making the move permanent in 2018. After just six months he was signed by FK Qabala before moving to Sabah FK in July 2019.
Rumours were circulating that Scottish football giants Celtic were after the signature of the central defender after he broke into the Azerbaijan National team squad where he has now made 4 appearances including the national sides impressive draw with World Cup runners up Croatia back in September.

He is a strong, touch tackling centre-half who is a good ball-playing defender.
