Angry Ginge has proved himself to be the ultimate underdog by being named favourite to win I’m A Celebrity.
The YouTuber and Twitch streamer is set to enter the jungle during Sunday’s premiere of the ITV reality show alongside stars like Kelly Brook, Jack Osbourne, and Alex Scott.
The social media star, 24, has quickly become one of the most talked-about names heading into the new series, with bookies naming him the clear frontrunner.
He has 7/4 odds of being named King of the Jungle, while singer Martin Kemp sits as the 5/1 second favourite and rapper Aitch (13/2) and Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson (7/1) follow behind, William Hill revealed.
Angry Ginge will no doubt be looking to follow in the lead of popular vlogger GK Barry, who shot to mainstream fame thanks to her appearance on I’m A Celebrity last year.
The streamer’s real name is Morgan Burtwistle and he is known for his FIFA and football-related content on social media.
He is from Salford, Manchester, and is an ardent supporter of Manchester United.
Angry Ginge started streaming FIFA on Twitch in 2020 and took it up full-time in 2021.
He has more than one million followers on Twitch, with hundreds of thousands more across other social media platforms.
The social media personality has garnered attention over the years and recently took part in Soccer Aid 2025, playing for Team England and being named official Man of the Match.
Angry Ginge was reportedly paid around £100,000 to appear on I’m A Celebrity, according to The Sun.
“Like Aitch, he’s on big money,” a source told the outlet.
“He has the online fan numbers to make him an attractive prospect to ITV bosses desperate to make the show relevant to a younger audience.”
He recently revealed it was a childhood dream of his to enter the jungle.
“When I got approached to be on I’m A Celebrity…, I said ‘yes’ immediately because it’s a bucket list item,” he said.
"I’ve watched the show on the sofa with my mum ever since I was a kid. To take part in it this year is something I couldn’t pass up on.”
He added: "But my whole life is spent on the phone. I’ve been away once for a week. And so, two to three weeks without it is going to be very educational to see how I will do!"
