Who is Amir Khan's wife Faryal Makhdoom and what does she do?

Amir Khan is set to step into the ring once more on Saturday night, and will be looking to settle an old score.

Khan's rivalry with fellow British fighter Kell Brook is a fierce one, with animosity between the pair bubbling away for the last few years.

Now, the pair will finally face off at Manchester's AO Arena, in one of the most anticipated fights in British boxing.

Even Khan's wife, Faryal Makhdoom, has waded into the rivalry, recently labelling Brook "boring" in an interview back in December.

Pakistani-American Faryal, 30, was born in Brooklyn and graduated from Rutgers University School of Arts & Science with a double major in political science and journalism.

Her father Shaukat and mother Zia have a luxury home on Staten Island, and she herself is a well known Instagram star and YouTuber.

She is primarily known as a model, but also rose to fame with her popular make-up tutorials.

Faryal also used to own her own brand, 'Faryal Comestics', but according to Companies House, the company dissolved in September 2020.

She married heavyweight boxer Amir Khan back in 2013, having been introduced to him by a mutual friend, with the couple tying the knot at a glamorous 1,000-guest ceremony at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

The pair then flew to Khan's hometown of Bolton where a second celebration, a traditional Walima, took place, with 4,000 guests in attendance.

The couple have been through some rocky times, mind.

Explosive tweets from Khan's Twitter account in 2017 had claimed that the pair had split, and accused her of cheating on him with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.

Amir himself had been on the receiving end of numerous allegations that he had cheated.

In 2018, beautician Sophia Hammani claimed that she spent the night with the boxer, just 17 days after their daughter Alayna was born.

Amir denied the claim, but his wife unfollowed him on Instagram.

The couple have since put the cheating claims behind them, and welcomed their third child on February 22, 2020.

In total, the couple have three children - two girls and a boy - Lamaisah born in 2014, Alayna in 2018, and Muhammad in 2020.
