The Arizona Cardinals have the first pick in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL draft, which is No. 174 overall. What type of player can people expect with that pick?
Based on the last six years, it could be a guy who never plays a down in the NFL or a solid contributor.
2018: WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers

As a rookie, Valdes-Scantling was a solid contributor. He played in all 16 games, starting 10 of them. He caught 38 passes for 581 yards and two touchdowns. That would have been for fourth on the Cardinals last year in catches and receiving yards.
2017: TE Eric Saubert, Atlanta Falcons

Saubert has been on the Falcons roster for two seasons and has appeared in 30 games. He caught five passes in 2018 and plays on special teams.
2016: OT Fahn Cooper, San Francisco 49ers

Cooper never made it out of the preseason with any team. He was cut by the Niners his rookie year and then cut again the next year by the Indianapolis Colts.
2015: RB Cameron Artis-Payne, Carolina Panthers

Artis-Payne has not been big in terms of production but he managed to stay on the Panthers roster four seasons and then get re-signed for 2019. In four years, he has 491 rushing yards and five touchdowns to go with 10 receptions.
2014: LB Devon Kennard, New York Giants

Kennard, formerly an Arizona high school standout, had seven sacks in 2018 for the Detroit Lions after he landed a three-year deal in free agency. He had 9.5 sacks in four years with the Giants before 2018.
2013: WR Ryan Swope, Arizona Cardinals

Swope never made it out of his first practice. He was drafted after having had issues with concussions in college. Diving for a pass in his first practice, he suffered another concussion and ended up retiring from football.
