Who have been the last 10 players drafted 131st overall?

The Arizona Cardinals, thanks to the DeAndre Hopkins trade, have two fourth-round picks. The second of those picks is No. 131 overall. What sort of impact have players selected 131st overall?

Here are the last 10 years of that pick.

2019: OL Wes Martin, Redskins

Martin got playing time as a rookie. He played in nine games and even started five games at guard.

2018: RB Kalen Ballage, Dolphins

 Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Ballage became the Dolphins’ starting running back after they traded Kenyan Drake to the Cardinals. He has not had big numbers yet. In two seasons, he has 326 rushing yards and four touchdowns, averaging only 3.0 yards per attempt. He only averaged 1.8 yards per carry in 2019.

2017: DL Deatrich Wise, Patriots

Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

Wise has been a rotational defensive lineman for the Pats, starting 11 times in 46 games. He has 11.5 career sacks and 82 career tackles. NOt bad for a late fourth-rounder.

2016: LB Blake Martinez, Packers

Raj Mehta-USA TODAY Sports

Martinez was a home run of a pick. He has had at least 144 tackles in each of the last three seasons for the Packers. He just signed a lucrative three-year deal with the New York Giants.

2015: OL Shaq Mason, Patriots

 Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Mason is another home run pick in the fourth round. He has been a starting offensive lineman for the Pats since his rookie year and earned a five-year, $50 million contract extension. He has started 70 of 75 games in the league.

2014: S Brock Vereen, Bears

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Vereen lasted two seasons with the Bears. He played in all 16 games and started four as a rookie, picking up one interception and 39 tackles. He was cut after three weeks in 2015. He landed on the practice squad of the Patriots and then retired.

2013: RB Marcus Lattimore, 49ers

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Lattimore finished college with an ugly knee injury. The 49ers took a fourth-round flier on him. It never paid off as he never played in the NFL.

2012: OL Brandon Mosley, Giants

 Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

Mosley lasted four seasons in the NFL but was on injured reserve for two entire seasons — in 2012 and 2015, his first and last seasons. He appeared in 22 games, starting once.

2011: CB Davon House, Packers

Patrick Gorski-USA TODAY Sports

House had a long and successful NFL career. He played four seasons for the Packers, two with the Jaguars and returned to Green Bay for his final two NFL seasons. He started 46 games of the 87 in which he played. He had seven career interceptions.

2010: LB Rodderick Muckelroy, Bengals

 Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Muckelroy was out of the league after 2012. He had 10 tackles and two forced fumbles in 14 games as rookie. He was on injured reserve all of 2011 and then played seven games combined for the Bengals and Redskins in 2012.
