Who has performed best throughout Titans OTAs?

The Tennessee Titans move closer every day to the approaching 2019 season, and have been working through OTAs.

We’ve heard the names of many players thrown around over recent times for various reasons, but who has stood out the most?

Team reporter Jim Wyatt was asked this specific question this week. According to him, wide receiver Adam Humphries, linebacker Rashaan Evans and tight end Delanie Walker have delivered the best performances.

“My three: Adam Humphries, Rashaan Evans and Delanie Walker – all for different reasons,” he wrote.

Humphries, a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers slot receiver who is coming off a career year, has already shown he’s able to make an impact. It will be interesting to see how the season plays out for him as he prepares to take on a larger role.

“Humphries is new, so I’ve kept an eye on him from the start. He’s been really good in practices, and it’s clear he’s going to make a difference.”

Evans was solid last year, but is looking to become an even bigger force in the upcoming season.

“Evans returns, and I was looking forward to seeing him make the second year jump. He hasn’t disappointed. He’s been flying around, looking good.”

Walker has had better days, but is catching the eyes of many as he recovers. The pass-catcher has remained confident and outspoken about his ability to return to the field at full capacity, and he hasn’t shown any signs of doing otherwise.

“And while I’ve seen Delanie look better, he’s surprised me with just how much he’s done in OTAs coming off the ankle injury. Delanie said himself he’s 85 percent, so he still has a ways to go, but he’s had a good offseason.”

Mandatory minicamp will begin on Tuesday.
