Who has left Dancing On Ice 2023? Full list of voted off contestants as winner announced

Dancing on Ice 2023 has crowned its champion. This year's winner is gymnast Nile Wilson who won the series alongside his professional partner Olivia Smart.

Runner-up this year was reality television star Joey Essex and Vanessa Bauer, while third place was awarded to Welsh-born drag queen The Vivienne and Colin Grafton. The live final saw the public vote until a winner was crowned by presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

The 2023 series took place on Sunday, March 12 after weeks of training. However, the competition kicked off on Sunday, January 15 with 11 celebrities all looking to impress judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo and avoid the dreaded skate-off.

Below you can see a full list of those who took part and the order in which they were voted off the show.

Winner - Nile Wilson

Nile Wilson won the series and looked thrilled (ITV)

Olympic gymnast Nile and partner Olivia Smart are this year's winners. The athlete impressed both the panel and the audience in the live final which ended with an emotional Bolero routine that left both Nile and judge Christopher Dean in tears.

Runner-up - Joey Essex

The reality television star and his partner Vanessa Bauer came in second place during the live final, losing out to Nile Wilson and Olivia Smart who lifted the DOI trophy.

Third place - The Vivienne

Wesh drag queen and her partner Colin Grafton came in third place in the 2023 final, just missing out on a chance to perform the iconic Bolero routine.

Semi-final - Molly Gallagher and Siva Kaneswaran

Semi-finals week brought with it, the end for two celebrities in the competition. After The Vivienne and Nile Wilson were saved by the public vote, Molly Gallagher, Siva Kanerswaran and Joey Essex were all made to dance in the skate-off.

All four judges chose to save Joey and partner Vanessa Bauer meaning that Molly and Siva were just short of dancing in the final. Following the decision, Siva said: "It's been great... I've done everything I've aimed to do... I've celebrated my family, Tom." Meanwhile, Molly said: "Honestly, it's truly been the best experience. It's everything I thought I couldn't do... Sylvain has been the most patient and talented person."

Week six - Carley Stenson

Week six saw Carley Stenson and skating partner Mark Hanretty eliminated from the competition.

Upon leaving, Carley said: "I am sorry to let people down who have been voting for us... I am, I'm really really sad, gutted. I have had an amazing time, I've had so much fun, I am just gutted it is over".

Week five - Darren Harriott

Comedian, Darren, and his partner, Tippy Packard were booted off the show after movie week. They faced a skate-off with Siva.

“I lasted a lot longer than I expected,” Darren admitted. “I thought I’d be out before the show started!

“Honestly, thank you to everyone, it’s been a dream. I know everyone’s said this before, everyone’s been so nice.”

He then took a moment to celebrate partner Tippy, saying: “This woman! I’ve never met anybody like Tippy. Her enthusiasm, any lift I suggest she’s like ‘let’s do it!'”

Week four - Patsy Palmer

Former EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer became the fourth person to leave Dancing on Ice. After she was eliminated from the show she said: "I met the best people ever, we’ve been like one big family. Matt is amazing... I’ve proved that I can and exceeded what I can do."

Her professional partner Matt Evers added: "When I first met Pasty on the ice, I was like, 'Whoa this is going to be a tough one,' but I am so proud of what she's accomplished".

Week three - Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and her partner Brendyn Hatfield left the competition during Dance Week. The Love Island winner was emotional after her performance which saw her in the skate-off alongside Patsy Palmer and Matt Evers.

While the judges admitted the skate-off was close, they unanimously xchose to save Patsy and Matt, sending Ekin-Su home. Presenter Phillip Schofield said it was the "most emotional" skate-off ever. You can read more on this here.

Week two - Michelle Heaton

The second week of the competition saw singer Michelle Heaton eliminated. For one week only, the losing celeb's fate was decided by the general public rather than a skate-off.

Michelle and dance partner Łukasz Różycki danced a 'Chicago'-inspired performance and got a score of 20 from the judges. This wasn't enough to save her, though

Week one- John Fashanu

Former football John Fashanu was the first celebrity to be voted off Dancing on Ice. He faced former Love Islander Ekin-Su in the skate off and the judges unanimously voted to save Ekin-Su.

John said he had a great time on the show and plans to carry on skating. He said: "It's been great...it has been wonderful the FA Cup final again...yes, I shall carry on skating!"
