Who got dumped from Love Island? Abi and Dale chosen to go after six put at risk

After viewers were subjected to yet another cliff hanger on Sunday night, the identities of the latest contestants to be eliminated from Love Island have been revealed.

And this time it's Abi and Dale who have been given the boot from the show.

Bosses have revealed leaving fans hanging for an extra 24 hours this series, with cliff hangers ranging from who was going to choose to go out of Brad and Lucinda to the choices made in the crucial Casa Amor recoupling.

And there was another to endure when Love Island host Laura Whitmore gate crashed the Islanders partying at the Island Vibes Club to reveal that the public had once again been having their say.

Viewers were told to vote for their favourite boyband girl and the results sent through the group as both Kaz and Jake were revealed to be in the bottom three.

The safe boys had to pick between Kaz, Mary and Abi on who to send home, while Jake was at the mercy of the safe girls alongside Tyler and Dale.

Viewers were very vocal on who they thought should and would get the boot and in the end it was Abi and Dale who were told to say a very swift goodbye.

During her discussion with the other girls, Liberty admitted it broke her heart to see Jake's place in the villa at risk, with Faye, also alluding to Jake saying: "The way he dealt with Casa Amor was wrong, He handled it badly."

Abi and Dale had to make a hasty exit, with Abi admitted she thought it was her time to, saying she felt "like a loose part."

Dale said his exit was "bittersweet," adding that he'd had one of the best summers of his life.
