Who Do You Think You Are?: Who is Alex Scott, what teams did she play for and what has she presented?

Ex-footballer Alex Scott appears on the family history show Who Do You Think You Are on Tuesday 26 October on BBC 1 at 9 pm.

Alex discovers a lot about her family, with surprising twists, tears and love at the heart of the show.

The now television presenter appears in the show's 18th series and follows in the footsteps of Dame Judi Dench and Daniel Radcliffe.

The 37-year-old was listed as one of the UK's most influential Black people by Powerful Media.

The show follows her tracing her lineage through the Windrush generation and shows her travelling to Jamaica for the first time in her life.

Who is Alex Scott?

Alex Scott MBE is a former professional footballer turned television presenter. In 2019 she was added to the English Football Hall of Fame.

What teams has Alex Scott played for?

She has made 140 appearances for the England women's national football team and represented Team GB at the 2012 London Olympics.

Alex mostly played as a right-back for Arsenal Women's Football Club.

Her career even took her to the States where she played for the Boston Breakers.

What has Alex Scott presented?

Alex is a pundit for BBC Sport and Sky Sport. She also covers the English Premier League.

She has presented Soccer Aid, Children in Need, The One Show and became the first female football pundit at the World Cup for the BBC.

The decorated athlete also co-hosted Sky Sports' Goals in 2019.
