With Gareth Southgate poised to announce his final 26 man England squad at 5pm, there is still much uncertainty surrounding which seven players will miss out from the provisional 33.
After injury concerns for Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson, and the Champions League Final leaving Manchester City and Chelsea players subject to a last minute injury, Southgate felt unable to submit a final squad with so many factors still at play.
However, the time has now come for Southgate to decide and there are already rumours of some big shock admissions, and possible inclusions for Euro 2020.
Who do you think should miss out for Euro 2020? Let us know in the comments here.
Many believe Trent Alexander-Arnold will not be included in Southgate’s final squad despite hitting fine form at the end of the season. Having been dropped by Southgate earlier this year, it is thought the England manager will leave the Liverpool defender at home this summer.

Amongst the midfield, there are plenty of talented options, many believing Jude Bellingham and Kalvin Phillips could provide the creativity England need at this summer’s European Championships. However with injury doubts for Phillips and Mason Mount and Declan Rice also vying for places, it is all to play for in the midfield. Hopefully this weekend’s training camp will have shed more light on Southgate’s best options.
Upfront, the options are endless and varied, Phil Foden being in the form of his very young life and Harry Kane lifting the Golden Boot once again. Although not in his best form, Raheem Sterling is amongst the most experienced the squad has to offer, possibly gaining a place to provide some wisdom amongst what is a youthful England set up.

All is to play for and many think the squad announced today will be our biggest indicator of England’s chances of lifting the trophy at Wembley in July.
