Gareth Southgate's England selection dilemma - help him pick XI for Euro 2020 opener

With just a week to go until England’s opening game against Croatia, all eyes turn to Gareth Southgate as he must pick his starting 11.

As the nation waits to hear who the Three Lions manager will pick to play in England's Euro 2020 opener, we want to know who you would start for the first game of the tournament.

The competition across the park is vast even in light of England’s injury woes and there are some big decisions to be made.

Southgate is confident in the side he has, despite losing Trent Alexander-Arnold after the Liverpool defender tore his hamstring in the friendly against Austria last week.

Ben White has been chosen to come in and take over Alexander-Arnold's spot, with Ben Godfrey, James Ward-Prowse and Jesse Lingard all just missing out.

Even amongst those already confirmed in the squad there are still some very tough choices.

Was Gareth Southgate right to include Jordan Henderson in his Euro 2020 squad? Comment below.

Many believe Jack Grealish should start, but debate still rages as to how do you fit him into a starting lineupat Euro 2020, when there are so many candidates for the attacking positions.

At the back, even with the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, there is heavy competition for starting spots; notably Tyrone Mings and Conor Coady are aiming to impress the England boss in their bids to earn a start against Croatia in place of Harry Maguire.

Bukayo Saka will be hoping he has done enough in the friendlies to convince Southgate he is worthy of a starting shirt, with Phil Foden, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling all vying for places too.

It is all to play for and, no matter what, there will be some who disagree with the manager's final choice.

But before we hear his team, we want to know yours.

Tell us who YOU believe should be starting as we face Croatia next week.

Does Raheem Sterling get a place through experience?

Would you take a chance on Jadon Sancho?

Should the team be built around Grealish?

And who plays at right-back?
