Who could Arsenal draw in the Europa League round of 32?

Arsenal can now look forward to finding out who they will face in the Europa League last 32 knockout round after a 1-0 win over Qarabag on Thursday.

Unai Emery, a Europa League specialist having won three on the bounce with Sevilla, is on a mission to replicate his success in his maiden season in north London.

The Gunners went undefeated in the group stage, only dropping points in a 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon at the Emirates in which Danny Welbeck suffered a fracture.

Having topped their group, Arsenal will be one of the seeded sides in the draw, meaning they cannot be drawn against any of the other group winners or those who are seeded having dropped down from the Champions League such as Napoli.

They also cannot face a side from their own group or coefficient, i.e. Chelsea.

Here is who Arsenal could face in the round of 32…

BATE, Celtic, Club Brugge, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, FC Krasnodar, Lazio, Malmo, Olympiakos, Rapid Vienna, Rennes, Shakhtar Donetsk, Slavia Prague, Viktoria Plzeň, Villarreal and FC Zurich.

When is the Europa League draw?

The draw will take place on Monday, December 17 at 12pm GMT, following the Champions League draw

Where is it?

Proceedings will be held at Uefa’s Swiss headquarters in Nyon.

How to follow

There will be a live stream of the draw on uefa.com, though Standard Sport will provide LIVE coverage of the proceedings.
