'Who are we signing today?' - These Spurs fans are saying the same thing after Ndombele transfer

It seems like Tottenham transfers are like London buses.

You wait so long for one to arrive and two come along at once.

That was what it must have felt like for Spurs fans on Tuesday, as, after more than 500 days without a new signing, Tottenham made two in the same day.

Jack Clarke joined the club for a fee in the region of £8.5million from Leeds United, although he immediately returned to Yorkshire on loan for the season as part of the deal.

Then came the big one, the double-decker to continue the bus pun, if you will - Tanguy Ndombele.

After a long chase, Spurs announced the £63million capture of the France international on Tuesday evening, smashing the club's previous transfer record.

Tottenham may not be finished there, with links continuing with Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso and Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon still in the frame.

And the supporters are certainly hoping the transfer business is not done there, and there's a certain confidence among the fanbase now, having seen those two players come in, that more will follow.

After Ndombele completed his deal, the Spurs fans on Twitter all started asking the same question of the club's hierarchy - who's next?
