The X Factor: Celebrity kicks off this weekend, bringing with a very random lineup of famous faces as contestants.
While the normal version of X Factor has been shelved this year, the show isn't completely absent from our schedules with an All Star version planned for Christmas The X Factor: Celebrity , which starts on ITV on Saturday night.
Talking about why he's doing a celebrity version of The X Factor, Simon said: "It just felt so obvious to do a celebrity version.
"The only condition was I couldn’t know who was going to be on it.
"I said to the team, 'You’ve got to find some acts who you believe can sell records off the back of this, because if you don’t do that it won’t work.'
"So that was the deal and we stuck to it. I swear to God I didn’t have a clue who any of the acts were."

And one of the acts we'll seen in action on episode one is Try Star.
Who are Try Star?
Try Star are made up of three famous rugby players - Thom Evans – 34, Ben Foden – 34 and Levi Davis – 21.
Thom actually has previous singing experience, Peter Andre, Westlife and McFly on tour in boyband Twen2y4se7en.
Ben, who was once married to Una from The Saturdays, currently plays for a team in New York, while LEvi plays for Bath.
