Who are the WWE champions after WrestleMania 35? Kofi Kingston in tears after beating Daniel Bryan

Kofi Kingston fought back the tears after he landed the WWE title at WrestleMania 35.

In a magnificent victory over Daniel Bryan, the New Day superstar celebrated his heroic achievement alongside Xavier Woods and Big E, plus his two sons.

And he was handed a brand new WWE belt to toast his crowning glory after hitting his ‘Trouble in Paradise’ to topple Bryan.

Kingston was not the only new champion to be crowned at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’.

In the opening match of the Kick-Off show, Tony Nese conquered Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight championship.

Then Curt Hawkins ended his 269-match losing streak to defeat The Revival and win the Raw tag team titles with best friend Zack Ryder.

In a huge plot twist in the opening match of the official show, Seth Rollins slayed the ‘Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar to claim the WWE Universal title.

Samoa Joe managed to retain his gold after a quick with over legendary Rey Mysterio to keep his US title.

The Usos retained their Smackdown Live tag team championships, while The IIconics celebrated victory in the Women’s Tag Team title match to dethrone Sasha Banks and Bayley.

Finn Balor - as 'Demon Balor' - later became a two-time Intercontinental champion when he beat Bobby Lashley for the prize.

And in the main event, Becky Lynch controversially claimed both the Raw and Smackdown Live women's championships by pinning Ronda Rousey to also defeat Charlotte Flair in a winner takes all triple threat match.
