Who are Princess Diana’s twin nieces, Lady Amelia and Eliza Spencer?

Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer were spotted on the catwalk at the Josh Birch Jones show at London Fashion Week.

Amelia wore a stunning sapphire green dress while Eliza rocked a black frock with embossed detail at the neckline. Both gowns had serious shoulder pad detail and the blonde beauties wore their striking manes slicked back and their eye makeup dark and sultry.

The twins are following in the footsteps of their older sister, Lady Kitty Spencer, who has been a longtime face of Dolce & Gabbana and Bulgari.

Who are Lady Amelia and Eliza Spencer?

Lady Amelia and Eliza, both 30, recently moved from Cape Town to London to model.

The pair were born in London in July 1992. They moved to South Africa in 1995 with their father, Charles Spencer, and mother Victoria, but Charles moved back to the UK in 1997.

Victoria and Charles divorced in the same year, and she later wed Jonathan Aitken in 2005. However, the couple split up four years later.

Lady Amelia’s first name is actually Katya, but she goes by her middle name.

The duo were praised by Tatler, the Condé Nast magazine, in 2022 as being among the sexiest and most fashionable socialite siblings from around the world who were accustomed to mixing with supermodels, aristocrats, and royals.

Their older sister, Kitty, established a successful modelling career after becoming a mainstay of the London social scene.

Lady Amelia is set to marry her fiancé, Greg Mallett, in March. They announced their engagement in 2020.

Lady Eliza has been dating Channing Millerd for six years. He has a son, Nate, from a previous relationship and has shared snaps of the trio together on social media.

How are they related to Princess Diana?

Lady Amelia and Eliza are the nieces of Princess Diana and the daughter of Earl Spencer.

The sisters have one older and four younger half-siblings from their father’s second and third marriages.

Does Princess Diana have other famous relatives?

The former British prime minister Winston Churchill is connected to Princess Diana. Charles Spencer, 3rd Lord Spencer (1675–1722) and his wife, Anne Churchill are among their shared ancestors.

Frances Ellen Work, an American heiress who lived from 1857 to 1947, was Diana's maternal grandmother. She filed for divorce from James Roche, who would eventually become the third Baron Fermoy, in 1891 on the grounds of desertion. Newspapers at the time reported on the high-profile case.

Presidents John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and John Quincy Adams, as well as the financier JP Morgan and the poet Ralph Waldo Emerson, are among Diana's other American connections.

The late Princess Diana was also related to the late actress and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn, whose mother was from Dutch aristocracy and her father a descendant of Mary Queen of Scots through her third husband James Hepburn.
