As NFL draft season is fast approaching after Sunday’s Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs could go any number of ways with their first-round selection in April. Some have speculated that the team might try to find a third weapon to add to Patrick Mahomes’ offensive arsenal, or that another stud defender could be the difference between another championship or playoff exit for Kansas City next season.
No matter what the Chiefs decide to do, though, they’ve got the luxury of an already solid roster to build off of. No position is totally deficient and, most importantly (or obviously), their quarterback situation puts them leaps and bounds ahead of most other teams in the league. With their options wide open, here are some of the prospects being mocked to Kansas City early in the draft process:
