Aberdeen and Hibs could be pulled out of the hat with some giant names of European football in Monday’s Europa Conference League draw.
The Scottish Premiership pair secured their place in the third qualifying round where the Dons face Icelandic outfit Breidablik and the Easter Road side are up against Rijeka.
And while their attention is on finding a way past their respective opponents, they will have one eye on events at the House of European football in Nyon.
It might be UEFA’s third tier competition but some of the seeded sides wouldn’t look out of place in the Champions League.
Italian cracks Roma, former European champions Feyenoord and English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspu r are just three of the big sides they could face.
However, if they can avoid a glamour game then there are ties where, if they can overcome their third qualifying round opponents, they would fancy their chances of reaching the group stage.
Here, Record Sport looks at the teams the unseeded due could face
Roma
Serie A giants finished seventh in the Italian top flight and Jose Mourinho could be heading to Scotland’s north east or Leith.
Rennes
Celtic faced the French side in the Europa League a couple of years ago and finished sixth in Ligue 1 last season.
Basel or Upjest
The Swiss side will be favourites to progress against the Hungarians and are no strangers to the Champions League.
FC Copenhagen or Lokomotiv Plovdiv

The Danes eliminated Celtic from the Europa League last season and could be back in Scotland if they see off the Bulgarians.
Viktoria Plzen or The New Saints
Welsh minnows TNS defeated Glentoran in the last round but have their work cut out against the Czechs, who are likely to progress.
Anderlecht or Lac
Hibs faced the Belgian side in the 1992 UEFA Cup and could be set for a return unless the Albanians spring a surprise.
Astana or KUPS
Aberdeen have lost to Kazakh opposition before and the travelling brings its own issues. A trip to Finland would be much better logistically - but unlikely.
Tottenham Hotspur

A cross-border clash always gets the juices flowing and the Londoners would provide huge Battle of Britain excitement.
Feyenoord or Luzern
Arne Slot is the new man at the helm of the Dutch giants after Dick Advocaat retired last year and they remain a huge name in European football even if they are not the force they once were.
Apollon Limassol or Qarabag
A repeat of their clash with the Cypriots is the last thing the Dons would want after an ugly meeting four years ago but the Azerbaijani outfit are ever-improving.
Maccabi Tel-Aviv or Spartak Trnava
The Israelis reached the last-32 of the Europa League last season and would provide a stiffer test than the Slovaks.
PAOK or Bohemians
Rangers faces the Greeks in the late 1990s and it’s an intimidating arena when full as the Irish look to pull off a shock.
Partizan Belgrade or Sochi
The Serbians have a rich history in European football unlike the Russians who were only formed three years ago but are on the rise.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva or Ararat Yerevan
The Israelis are no strangers to travelling to Scotland after facing Celtic in Champions League qualifiers when Brendan Rodgers was in charge of the Hoops while St Johnstone wilted in the Armenian heat so that tie would have its own dangers.
