Whitworth, Floyd pop up on Rams injury report Thursday

The Los Angeles Rams held their second practice of the week on Thursday in advance of this weekend’s game against the Seattle Seahawks and there are a few players with injury concerns.

Darrell Henderson is on the right track, returning to practice in a limited capacity. David Edwards also returned and was a full participant as he continues to recover from an abdomen injury.

Leonard Floyd (knee) and Terrell Lewis (shoulder) both popped up on the injury report Thursday. Floyd was held out of practice with soreness in his knee, while Lewis was a limited participant. Cooper Kupp remained limited with oblique and wrist ailments.

Sean McVay said Henderson is expected to be fine for Sunday and has maintained that Kupp will be able to play, too.

“Yeah, he’s going to be able to play,” McVay said of Henderson before practice. “He’s practicing today. He was a little bit banged up, but the big man is feeling good. He’ll be ready to go. So, unless there’s something that happens between (now and) game time, do not expect him to miss and expect him to be a big part of what we’re doing on Sunday.”

McVay said Andrew Whitworth’s back tightened up after Wednesday walk-thru, which held him out of practice Thursday.
