This is the moment a van smashes a car into the central reservation on the M53.
Dashcam footage shows a van in the middle lane attempting to change into the third lane.
When the driver of a black Vauxhall Astra in that lane appears not to let the van in front of it, the van then crashes the car into the motorway barrier.
The video then shows the van take junction 6 towards Eastham Oil Terminal, with the Vauxhall Astra following.
The incident is understood to have taken place today, on Wednesday, November 20 at around 8.20am.
Cheshire Police have been alerted to the collision.
They urged anyone with information to contact Cheshire Police on 101 and quote IML569295.
