Police are hunting a thug who carried out a vicious attack in Castlemilk.
The victim was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after suffering a puncture wound during the vicious assault.
Now detectives want to find the person driving a white van seen driving towards the 20-year-old victim at the time.
The drama unfolded shortly before midnight on Thursday night on Castlemilk Drive at the junction with Ardencraig Road.
Detective Constable Craig Phee of Cathcart CID said: "We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen this disturbance or who may have seen a white van in the immediate area of this disturbance to get in touch.
“I also urge any motorists who were in the area and who may have dashcam footage which could assist with our enquiries into the incident to get in touch."
