CHICAGO _ The White Sox rolled past the Astros 7-1 on Wednesday night at Guaranteed Rate Field for their second consecutive victory over the team with the best record in the American League.
Miguel Gonzalez was sharp on the mound and Tim Anderson had a big night at the plate to help give the Sox their ninth win in the last 12 meetings between the teams.
The Sox improved to 43-68 and are a win away from completing their second series sweep of a team this season _ they managed that feat April 24-26 against the Royals. The Astros dropped to 71-42.
