White Sox, Tigers rained out

Guaranteed Rate Field on Wednesday.

The White Sox’ schedule game Wednesday night against the Tigers was postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader Thursday starting at 4:10 p.m. CT. The second game will begin approximately 30-45 minutes following the conclusion of the opener but not before 7:10 p.m.

The Tigers’ Casey Mize and Sox’ Carlos Rodon, the scheduled starters for Wednesday, will pitch Game 1 Thursday. Matthew Boyd of the Tigers and Dylan Cease of the Sox will start Game 2.

Both games will be seven-inning games. Parking lots and gates will open at 3:10 p.m.

Season-ticket holders will receive a credit to their account for game tickets and parking for Wednesday’s game. Ticketmaster purchasers will receive a full refund for game tickets and parking through Ticketmaster. Fans with tickets to tomorrow’s originally scheduled contest can attend both games of the doubleheader.

NBC Sports Chicago will air Game 1 and NBC Sports Chicago Plus (+) will broadcast Game 2.
