White Sox slide continues with 9-3 loss to Indians

CHICAGO _ Indians second baseman Jose Ramirez had four hits, including a home run, scored four runs and drove in three Friday night during his team's 9-3 victory against the White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.

It was the Indians' eighth straight win and the Sox's 13th loss in 14 games.

The Sox's American League-worst record fell to 39-61.

Indians starter Danny Salazar no-hit the Sox until Omar Narvaez's single to right field with one out in the fifth inning.

Matt Davidson's two-run homer in the seventh accounted for the Sox's runs.

Salazar allowed those two runs, three hits, two walks and struck out eight in six-plus innings.

Sox rookie second baseman Yoan Moncada, batting cleanup for the first time, hit an RBI double in the eighth inning.
