The White Sox placed RHP Reynaldo López on the 10-day injured list before Monday’s game against the Indians in Cleveland.
López lasted only two-thirds of an inning Sunday against the Twins before being pulled with right shoulder soreness. He gave up four earned runs and three hits in the Sox’ 14-2 loss to Minnesota at Guaranteed Rate Field.
In other moves, the Sox recalled RHP Ian Hamilton from the Schaumburg training facility, purchased the contract of infielder Ryan Goins from the Schaumburg training facility, and designated infielder Cheslor Cuthbert for assignment.
