White Sox postpone Wednesday's game against Twins

The White Sox postponed Wednesday's game against the Twins at Guaranteed Rate Field due to rain, the club announced at 4:30 p.m.

The Sox and Twins will make up the game as a part of a straight doubleheader Aug. 21, staring at 4:10 p.m. the Second game will be played at 7:10 p.m. or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

Tickets for Wednesday's game are now a gift certificate, and fans can exchange those game tickets and parking coupons for tickets of equal or lesser value to any future regular-season Sox home game.

Sox left-hander Derek Holland and Twins right-hander Phil Hughes will be pushed back to Thursday's game, scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
