Left-hander Carlos Rodon was scratched from his scheduled start with an upset stomach Monday, about two hours before the start of the White Sox game against the Indians at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Dallas Keuchel, who was slated to start Wednesday, will take the ball instead. Keuchel will pitch on five days rest.

The Sox had an off day Friday and were rained out Saturday, giving the starting rotation two extra days rest. Giolito will start Tuesday on six days rest, on his regularly scheduled turn. Wednesday and Thursday starters against the Indians are to be determined, the Sox said, with Rodon a possibility Thursday or perhaps Lance Lynn.

Rodon was outstanding during spring training and in his first start last Monday in Seattle, when he pitched five scoreless innings with nine strikeouts against the Mariners. He is 5-5 with a 2.94 ERA in 17 career games (15 starts) against the Indians and right-hander Triston McKenzie (0-0, 2.45 ERA).

Here is the Sox lineup against the Indians:

Adam Eaton RF

Luis Robert CF

Jose Abreu 1B

Yoan Moncada 3B

Yermin Mercedes DH

Yasmani Grandal C

Nick Williams LF

Leury Garcia 2B

Danny Mendick SS

Dallas Keuchel P
