White Sox and Indians are rained out

CLEVELAND — The White Sox’ scheduled game against the Indians Monday night at Progressive Field has been postponed due to rain.

The teams will make the game in a straight doubleheader Tuesday starting at 2:40 p.m. CST. White Sox right-hander Dylan Cease and Aaron Civale will pitch the first game, followed by Sox lefty Carlos Rodon and the Indians’ Adam Plutko in the second game.

The Sox were set to open a three-game series at and their first road trip, an eight-game trip that continues in Kansas City and Milwaukee.
