White Sox game vs. Blue Jays postponed because of rain; doubleheader set for Thursday

CHICAGO — Wednesday’s Chicago White Sox game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Guaranteed Rate Field was postponed because of rain.

It will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader starting at 4:10 p.m. Thursday.

The second game will begin about 30 to 45 minutes after Game 1 ends but not before 7:10. Parking lots and gates will open at 3:10.

The Game 1 pitchers will be José Berríos for the Blue Jays and Lance Lynn for the Sox. The Blue Jays will start Yusei Kikuchi in Game 2 with the Sox starter to be determined.
