Sept. 04--J.B. Shuck's pinch-hit, two-run triple in the seventh inning propelled the White Sox to a 6-4 victory against the Twins on Thursday at Target Field. Shuck's hit against Twins reliever Casey Fien pushed the Sox ahead and he scored on Adam Eaton's sacrifice fly.

Avisail Garcia had two RBIs, on a groundout in the first inning and a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning. Alexei Ramirez added an RBI single in the fourth inning.

Eddie Rosario hit a grand slam in the third inning for the only runs against Jeff Samardzija, who snapped a career-long six-game losing streak with the victory.

After singles against Samardzija and reliever Dan Jennings with one out in the seventh, manager Robin Ventura called on Nate Jones, who struck out Trevor Plouffe and Kennys Vargas to end the inning.
