The quote
"I have one job to do, and that's get as far into a game and keep it to as (few) runs as I can. I didn't quite do that today." -- Sale on if he was thinking about the record
The quote II
"We have to play better behind him and make plays. I don't want to say we fall asleep at times because he strikes so many guys out with swing-and-miss pitches, but we have to be ready to field the ball when it comes to us. From that standpoint, we need to step it up." -- Eaton
