The White Sox announced new manager Tony La Russa’s coaching staff on Tuesday, a group that includes holdovers Joe McEwing, Daryl Boston, Frank Menechino and Curt Hasler and four newcomers.

New to the Sox field staff are pitching coach Ethan Katz, bench coach Miguel Cairo, assistant hitting coach Howie Clark and analytics coordinator Shelley Duncan. The hires of Katz and Cairo were reported last month but not made official until Tuesday.

McEwing moves from bench coach to third base coach, a role he held before becoming previous manager Rick Renteria’s bench coach.

Analytics coordinator is a new position on the staff. Duncan, 41, was the Blue Jays’ major-league field coordinator in 2019 after managing in the Diamondbacks’ minor-league system from 2015-18. He is the son of Dave Duncan, La Russa’s longtime pitching coach.

Clark, 46, was hired as the hitting coach at Class AAA Charlotte before the cancellation of the 2020 minor-league season. He was the assistant hitting coach with the Orioles from 2017-19.

Here is the staff breakdown:

Bench coach: Miguel Cairo

Pitching coach: Ethan Katz

Asst pitching coach: Curt Hasler

Hitting coach: Frank Menechino

Assistant hitting coach: Howie Clark

Third base coach: Joe McEwing

First base coach: Daryl Boston

Analytics coordinator: Shelley Duncan
