White Sox exec Kenny Williams lists Gold Coast mansion for $3.75 million

Oct. 13--Chicago White Sox Executive Vice President Kenny Williams and his wife, WMAQ-Ch. 5 morning news anchor Zoraida Sambolin, on Monday placed their five-bedroom, 6,300-square-foot vintage Gold Coast mansion on the market for $3.75 million.

Williams, 51, and Sambolin, 50, married in 2014. He bought the graystone mansion in 2012 for $3.25 million. Sambolin returned to NBC-5 last year after working for CNN for several years.

In an interview with Elite Street, Sambolin said the couple was downsizing. She said they were spending more time at a vacation home "and my son is a junior at Fenwick High School and he's headed to college soon."

Built in 1898, the mansion has been completely renovated. Features include custom window treatments, wool carpet runners, modern wall coverings, designer lighting, a contemporary, open floor plan with crown moldings, walnut floors in the kitchen and family room, a mosaic tile floor in the living and dining rooms, an eat-in Christopher Peacock kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and a pantry closet, a study with a wet bar, a home theater, an exercise room, three laundry centers, a master suite with dual closets, a morning kitchen and an onyx spa bath. The mansion also has a shaft that can house an elevator.

Listing agent Jennifer Ames could not be reached for comment.
