White Sox’ Cactus League game rained out

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The White Sox’ scheduled Cactus League game against the Rockies Wednesday at Salt River Fields has been cancelled due to rain.

Sox pitchers scheduled to pitch against Rockies returned to the team’s complex in Glendale to get their work in there. Lucas Giolito was slated to start. Gio Gonzalez and Jace Fry were scheduled to make their first appearances in a Cactus League game.

The Sox have an off day Thursday.
