BOSTON_Former White Sox ace Chris Sale was brilliant as usual when facing his former team Friday night at Fenway Park.
Sale threw eight innings, allowing one run on six hits with 10 strikeouts.
But Dylan Covey outdueled Sale with six shutout innings in the Sox's 1-0 win.
Covey struck out seven and walked one to notch his second win.
The Sox scored the only run of the game in the sixth on Trayce Thompson's RBI single on a 99 mph fastball.
