April 03--April 6: At Royals. Right-hander Jeff Samardzija makes his White Sox debut as the South Siders kick off their season against the defending American League champions.
April 10-12: Vs. Twins. The Sox open to a home crowd with greatly increased expectations and could give left-hander Chris Sale his first appearance by April 11 or 12 if all goes well in his recovery from an injured foot/ankle.
May 23: Vs. Twins. The series runs from May 22-24, but Saturday is the premiere ticket as the Sox retire Paul Konerko's No. 14 at a pregame ceremony.
June 30-July 1: At Cardinals. As part of their National League Central bill this year, the Sox make the trek 300 miles southwest to play at Busch Stadium.
July 10-12: At Cubs. If all goes well in the first three months, the City Series could resume to greater hype -- and warmer weather than in 2014.
July 17-19: Vs. Royals. The White Sox celebrate the 10-year anniversary of winning the 2005 World Series with a reunion of players and coaches and special fan giveaways.
July 31-Aug. 2: Vs. Yankees. Will the Sox be buying or selling at the trade deadline? Meanwhile, new Sox closer David Robertson will be facing his former team.
Aug. 14-16: Vs. Cubs. Thanks to the schedule pitting Central Division vs. Central Division, the Sox get three against the Cubs at U.S. Cellular Field this year. Will Samardzija start against his former team?
Sept. 29-Oct. 1: Vs. Royals. The Sox hope they will be doing more than just playing spoiler as they open a six-game homestand to end the regular season.
Oct. 2-4: Vs. Tigers. The Tigers have won the American League Central for four straight seasons. Will the Sox help change that this year?
