White Chicks 2 is happening, according to star Terry Crews

The dancing pecs are about to make a comeback.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews has given fans of cult classic 2004 film White Chicks the news they have been waiting for: a sequel is on the way.

Responding to a caller's question on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Crews revealed that he has been speaking with screenwriter/co-star Shawn Wayans on coming back for a second round of White Chicks.

Crews said: "You know what, I actually got with Shawn, and he was like man we doing it, we getting it going."

The original film saw two disgraced FBI agents (Shawn and Marlon Wayans) go undercover to protect a hotel heiress - by transforming themselves into White Chicks.

Naturally, hijinks and outlandish situations ensued.

Despite a critical mauling, the first film was a hit with audiences and a box office success.

Terry Crews appeared in the film in the memorable role of basketball player Latrell Spencer, who falls in love with Marlon's character and makes his pecs dance.

Discussing whether he still has the physique for the part, Crews revealed: "I've stayed in shape just for that movie. I've been working out for 15 years so we could do White Chicks 2, y’all."

While the film may be in development, the White Chicks sequel has no other details confirmed at present.

White Chicks 2 does not currently have a confirmed release date.
