From its roots in the brewing and pub trade, Whitbread is now the UK's largest hotel and restaurant chain, responsible for some of the country's most familiar brands, including Costa Coffee, Premier Inn, Brewers Fayre and Beefeater Grill. Originally based solely in the UK, the company now has an international presence through both its Costa Coffee and Premier Inn brands. Despite already serving 19 million customers every month, the company has ambitious growth plans, which include 30 new Premier Inn hotels and 350 additional Costa stores around the world.
