Which version of Dak Prescott will Vikings see?

The Vikings will go up against Dak Prescott and the Cowboys on Sunday night in Dallas.

While Prescott is considered one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL (Pro Football Focus grades him as the sixth-best QB in the NFL), he has had some ups and downs this season.

He’s had a four-touchdown, zero-interception game (last week against the Giants). He also had a three-interception game against the Packers in Week 5. That was a loss.

On the season, Prescott has 2,380 yards to go with 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Those eight interceptions already match last year’s total.

But with that, Prescott’s yards per attempt is up to 8.7, a career-high.

The Cowboys are no longer treating Prescott like a game manager. And we’ve seen the good and bad of that. He’s getting the ball down the field and taking more chances. But that’s also turned into turnovers.

We’ll see if that results in any opportunities for the Vikings defensive backfield, a group that has been somewhat disappointing, to bring the ball back to the team’s offense.
