It is a given that the Pittsburgh Steelers traded up to draft linebacker Devin Bush to plug him into the starting lineup as quickly as possible. Bush is a true difference maker and should be not only one of the best rookies in the league, but he might be one of the best defenders on the team.
But what about the rest of the Steelers’ 2019 draft class? Is there another player you can see getting reps early? That’s the question of the day.
The easy answer here is probably wide receiver Diontae Johnson. He was drafted to replace Antonio Brown but the wide receiver depth chart is fairly crowded. Don’t rule out tight end Zach Gentry getting early looks, considering the Steelers love to run a lot of two-tight end sets.
