If the Pittsburgh Steelers lose to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football, they will fall to 0-4 on the season and can kiss their playoff hopes goodbye. This roster is packed with first- and second-round picks but they continually underperform. At some point, the blame for this team’s shortcomings has to fall back on the coaching staff. They seem inept when it comes to maximizing the talent on the roster and fielding a competitive unit.
Which got us thinking: If the Steelers lose at home to the Bengals, does the front office make a move and fire any of the coaching staff?
You have to wonder if Mike Tomlin is willing to pull the trigger on cutting Keith Butler and/or Randy Fichtner loose to help spark the offense and defense.
