Which shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are open in Newcastle Airport?

The start of the school holidays means the peak travel season has begun.

And while many families will be choosing to stay at home this summer, others will be flying from Newcastle International Airport to destinations in countries like Spain, Greece and France, which benefit from 'travel corridors' so UK tourists are not required to self-isolate when they return from their trip. The airport also provides a quick link to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, as well as short-haul flights to destinations across Britain.

Passengers using the airport must wear masks in the terminal building to protect themselves and others during the pandemic.

Inside, there are a number of cafes, restaurants bars and shops which have reopened to passengers, along with toilets.
