Which shops are open at the Middlebrook Retail Park from this weekend?

As the government slowly begins to ease restrictions on public life, some shops have started to reopen their doors.

At the Middlebrook Retail Park in Horwich, Bolton, there are usually thousands of shoppers flocking to their favourite stores every weekend but at the moment many of those businesses are closed.

Only shops selling the most essential items have remained opened throughout the coronavirus lockdown.

Staff are also working hard to make things as safe as possible, with parts of the retail park closed and others areas cordoned off to allow people to stay two metres apart while they queue.

However, now that the government has changed its guidelines to the public, some high street staples have started to serve customers again.

We have put together a list of the shops that have reopened. But, remember to only make the trip if it is really necessary and take all the appropriate precautions.

Here are the shops which are open at the Middlebrook Retail Park:

  • Asda
  • Tesco
  • Poundland
  • Boots
  • Wilkos
  • M&S (Only for food)
  • Pets at Home
  • Specsavers (Only for collection)
  • DFS
  • Tapi Carpets (Appointment only)
  • Furniture Village

Opening times of the stores continue to vary as they are reopened. The retail park opens from 9am-6pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sundays.
